The problem with having a five man team and lots of work in a startup - delayed blog updates! We know we have been missing the ’scene’ for a long time, but we are back and with a lot of stories.

Launch of QuickSutra - India’s 1st Job Widget!

QuickSutra is a job widget that helps bloggers and employers take SutraJobs to their private blogs and corporate blogs/careers page/websites, respectively. With QuickSutra, we’ve tried to usher in a new and radical recruitment methodology using which you’ll no longer need to get people to your jobs - QuickSutra will take your jobs to the right people!

Of course, QuickSutra is still in alpha stage (v1.0) and there are a lot of extensions and back-end features yet be added in the days coming ahead.

We’ve hit a Century!

Yes, SutraJobs is now an official recruitment platform for over 100 startups and emerging companies from all over India! Its been just over 8 months since we went live with SutraJobs, and we’ve managed to garner considerable amount of awareness about it without any paid marketing efforts, or even extensive free media campaigns. Although this milestone is very encouraging, we have many even more important milestones ahead. (The count has already touched 119 companies when going to press)

Before we conclude, allow me to introduce myself - I’m Jay Thaker. I’ve just joined Sutra to lead the business development initiative. I was earlier with burrp! and before that at Directi. You’ll see a lot more of me around here now.

We’ve got many more exciting things lined up and much more work still to be done, but right now I’m going to take a quick break to enjoy the weather outside.
